About Me

Hi! I'm Mel, a graphic designer based in Fresno with a love for bold ideas, thoughtful strategy, and designs that connect culture and creativity.

My journey started in high school yearbook club, where I discovered how design can tell stories and bring people together. That early spark led me to study design in college, during which I was hired by an advertising agency that opened the door to a wide range of creative work; from branding to packaging to digital campaigns and print advertising. After I left the agency I began freelancing which propelled me to work on many different projects. One of my favorite projects I worked on was an Electric Vehicle Awareness Campaign for the Center of Sustainable Energy to promote California's clean vehicle rebate project. It challenged me to blend my creativity with a 3D medium and I love a good challenge.

Along the way, I earned several art awards that fueled my passion for experimentation and craftsmanship. Over the years, I've expanded my skills to include logo design, branding, print and digital advertising, product packaging, illustration (including manga), car wraps, and UI/UX. I am always exploring new ways to merge artistry with purpose.

For me, design is about connecting people, ideas, and the stories that shape them. When I'm not designing, you'll find me sketching, exploring new art styles, or drawing inspiration from pop culture and everyday moments.

Let's create something bold, intentional, and unforgettable.
